Test does not load Internet Browser pop-up window – after Test Taker Logins to Test Session
If a Test Taker logs into a Test Session and after they have entered their Username and Password, they do not see an Internet Browser pop-up window appearing (which contains the Test) it is likely to be caused by the pop-up windows being blocked by the Internet Browser (or an enabled add-on to the Internet Browser).
- IE 7.0+
- Open an Internet Browser Window
- Select the Tools menu option
- Select the Internet Options option
- Click on the Privacy Tab
- Locate the Pop-up Blocker section and make sure the checkbox is unchecked
- Click on Apply button and then the OK button to save the change
- Close the Internet Browser Window and then open a new Internet Browser Window.
- Firefox V3.6+ (Windows and Mac OX)
- Open an Internet Browser Window
- For Windows versions
- Select the Tools menu option
- Select the Internet Options option
- Resume at step 4
- For Mac OX versions
- Select the Firefox menu option
- Select the Preferences option
- Resume at step 4
- Click on the Content Tab
- Locate the Block Pop-up windows section and make sure the checkbox is unchecked
- Click on OK button to save the change
- Close the Internet Browser Window and then open a new Internet Browser Window.
- Safari 3.0+
- Open an Internet Browser Window
- Select the Safari menu option
- Select the Block Pop-up Windows option
- Make sure the option is unchecked
- Click on OK button to save the change
- Close the Internet Browser Window and then open a new Internet Browser Window.
- Opera 10.5+
- Open an Internet Browser Window
- Select the Tools menu option
- Select the Preferences option
- Click on the General Tab option
- Locate the Pop-ups section and choose the option that allows pop-ups to open
- Click on OK button to save the change
- Close the Internet Browser Window and then open a new Internet Browser Window.

- Open an Internet Browser Window
- Select the Customise and Control Google Chrome menu option
- Select the Settings option
- Select the Show Advanced Settings hyperlink to expand the displayed settings
- Locate the Privacy section
- Click on the Content Settings button
- Locate the Pop-ups Section and make sure the Allow all sites to show pop-ups is checked
- Click on Done button to save the change
- Close the Internet Browser Window and then open a new Internet Browser Window.
